Alto saxophonist Pete Yellin has organized this tribute to the life of alto saxophonist Bishop Norman Williams, who recently passed away.
He was a mainstay in the jazz community for over 50 years.
Musicians will be coming by to play in the memorial and pay their respects to the Bishop.

I'm playing three Easter Sunday masses: 9:00, 11:00 and 12:30.

I'm in the horn section of a heavy-duty soul band called Soul Power.
We'll be playing a lot of Tower of Power tunes, like
"Believe It", "I Like Your Style", and "Soul with a Capital S".
If you want to get down, this is the band to do it with.

This program has been performed for more than 30,000
children in schools throughout the Bay Area.

For many kids, this will be their first exposure to jazz music, America's own art form.
